Our youth group had a car wash today at Kroger's. Liz, Emily, Lane, and I were standing by a stop sign holding a sign and we saw this old guy. We started talking to him. He started talking about how all kids are welcome in youth group even the 9-year-olds. We knew he meant me so I said, "I'm not 9."
He said, "Oh, sorry. I mean 8-year-olds."
"I'm not 8 either. I'm 13..."
"No you're not!"
"Yes I am."
"They say that kids who lie go to bad places..."
"I'm not lying! I really am 13!"
"Oh well try to keep your youth. I'm almost seventy!"
Well, sorry dude, but you didn't exactly look much younger than that. I wasn't a huge fan of him because he said I was 9! Gosh, why do I have to be so short?...
